South Park is a show worth watching. It remains one of the few shows that will take on any contentious issue in society and give the opinions of both sides. The continually push the envelope regarding free speech and their most recent episode is a great example of how they've been able to re-frame the public discourse about something innate to freedom. What is most interesting to me is the ambiguity of how much censorship the creators intended to have on the episode.

On Thursday morning, a spokesman for Comedy Central confirmed that the network had added more bleeps to the episode than were in the cut delivered by South Park Studios, and that it was not giving permission for the episode to run on the studio’s Web site.
